Terms and conditions

1. Website operator
The website www.table9.md and the services offered under the Table 9 brand are operated by RAHAF SRL, IDNO 1017600018378, with registered office at 22 Decebal Blvd., MD-2038, Chisinau, Republic of Moldova (“Table 9”, “we”, “us”, the “Restaurant”).
Contact details: restaurant@table9.md; phone 069 474 436; website www.table9.md.
Table 9 commercial locations: 22 Decebal Blvd., Chisinau and 34/1 Drumul Viilor St., Chisinau.
2. Opening hours
The usual opening hours for both locations are: Monday–Wednesday 11:00–01:00; Thursday–Saturday 11:00–03:00; Sunday 11:00–01:00. Hours may be temporarily adjusted on special days, for events or operational reasons; the current information published by Table 9 for that day prevails.
3. Scope
These Terms govern use of the website, creation and use of customer accounts, online orders, delivery and pickup, restaurant reservations and the related contractual relationship.
Separate conditions may apply to events, banquets and customised services and may be set out in an offer, pre-order, invoice, agreement or written confirmation. Special terms accepted by the customer prevail for the matters they expressly cover.
4. Menu information and availability
We take reasonable steps to keep names, descriptions, ingredients, quantities, prices and images on the website accurate and current. Images are illustrative and final presentation may vary.
Availability depends on stock, seasonality and production capacity. If an item is unavailable, Table 9 will contact the customer and may propose an alternative; substitutions are made only with the customer’s agreement.
5. Placing and accepting an order
To place an order, the customer selects products, completes the required information and confirms the order on the website. The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided.
Depending on the order type, an online order requires e-mail, first name, last name, phone number and, for delivery, the delivery address.
An automated acknowledgement does not always mean final acceptance. An order is accepted when Table 9 confirms it or begins processing/preparing it.
Before acceptance, Table 9 may reject an order for objective reasons, including lack of availability, inability to deliver, an obvious technical error, payment issues or a reasonable suspicion of fraud.
6. Prices, payment and fiscal receipt
Prices are stated in Moldovan lei (MDL) and include applicable taxes unless clearly stated otherwise.
Payment may be made in cash, by card on delivery/pickup, or online through the website, depending on the checkout options available.
Online payments are processed through Paynet. Table 9 does not store or have access to full payment-card details. We receive only the information necessary to confirm and record the transaction, such as amount, status and payment identifier.
A printed fiscal receipt is provided on delivery or pickup.
7. Own delivery and pickup
Table 9 provides its own delivery service from both locations. Delivery distance is calculated from the Table 9 location that accepts and prepares the order.
Delivery is available from 11:30 to 20:00 within a maximum radius of 8 km from the relevant location.
Orders over MDL 400 are delivered free of charge. For orders below MDL 400, the delivery fees are: 0–3 km — MDL 40; over 3 km up to 5 km — MDL 50; over 5 km up to 8 km — MDL 60.
The standard maximum delivery time is 60 minutes from order acceptance. In exceptional circumstances outside Table 9’s reasonable control, the customer will be informed of any delay.
Pickup from the restaurant is available. Where temporary conditions are clearly displayed before order confirmation, the checkout information applies to that specific order.
8. Order changes and cancellation
An order may be changed or cancelled only before the kitchen begins preparation.
Once preparation has started, cancellation may be refused because the products are prepared specifically for the order and for immediate consumption.
If an online-paid order is cancelled in time or cannot be fulfilled due to Table 9, the refund is made using the same payment method used for the original payment.
9. Incorrect, incomplete or non-conforming orders
If an order is incorrect, incomplete, damaged or otherwise non-conforming, the customer should contact Table 9 as soon as possible and provide the information needed to verify the issue.
Depending on the circumstances, Table 9 may replace the item, deliver missing items or refund the corresponding amount. These remedies do not limit mandatory consumer rights under Moldovan law.
10. Allergens and special dietary requirements
Ingredient and allergen information is available in the menu and/or on request. Customers should inform Table 9 before confirming the order of any allergy, intolerance or significant dietary requirement.
The kitchen handles ingredients containing different allergens at the same time. Reasonable safety measures are applied, but the complete absence of traces from cross-contact cannot be guaranteed. This statement does not limit statutory food-safety obligations.
11. Reservations
Reservations may be made through the website, by phone, through official messaging channels or directly at the restaurant and are considered confirmed after confirmation by Table 9.
The standard reservation duration is 3 hours from the booked time unless otherwise agreed.
A reserved table is held for a maximum of 30 minutes after the booked time. After that period, if the customer has not arrived, the table may be reallocated.
Ordinary reservations do not carry a cancellation or no-show penalty.
For groups of more than 10 people where a menu is agreed and prepared in advance, a deposit of 30% of the value of the pre-ordered menu is required.
The deposit is fully refundable if cancellation is notified at least 48 hours in advance. If cancellation is made less than 48 hours in advance or the group does not attend, the 30% deposit is retained in full to cover the cost of products and dishes prepared in advance for the ordered menu.
12. Events and banquets
For events and banquets, the menu, deposit, guest count, duration, additional services, décor, cancellation terms and other conditions may be agreed individually. These terms are communicated before the event is confirmed and, once accepted, apply to that event.
13. Customer account
Customers may create an account on the website. They are responsible for keeping login credentials confidential and for activity carried out through the account to the extent attributable to them.
Authentication and passwords are managed through Wix infrastructure; Table 9 does not have access to the user’s password in readable form.
14. Table 9 discount card
The Table 9 discount card is issued physically at the restaurant. The specific commercial discount conditions are communicated when the card is issued and may be updated prospectively with appropriate notice to customers.
Data used for the loyalty programme and marketing is processed under the Privacy Policy.
15. Orders through Glovo and other third-party platforms
Orders placed through Glovo are also subject to Glovo’s terms for the platform services it manages, including technical processing, accounts, payment and delivery. Table 9 remains responsible for its own obligations as supplier of its products.
16. Use of the website
Users must not use the website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes, interfere with its security or operation, introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorised access to systems or make unauthorised use of content.
17. Intellectual property
Texts, logos, photographs, graphics and other website materials are protected by intellectual property law and belong to Table 9 or are used under a valid right. Unauthorised commercial use or reproduction is prohibited except where permitted by law.
18. Data protection and cookies
The processing of personal data and use of cookies are described in the Privacy and Cookie Policy published on www.table9.md, including purposes, legal bases, recipients, retention periods and individual rights.
19. Liability and force majeure
Table 9 is responsible for its obligations under the laws of the Republic of Moldova. Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the extent permitted by law, Table 9 is not responsible for delays or failures caused solely by incorrect information supplied by the customer, third-party service outages outside Table 9’s reasonable control or force majeure.
20. Complaints and disputes
Customers may submit complaints to restaurant@table9.md or by phone at 069 474 436. We will seek to resolve the matter within a reasonable time.
If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, consumers may contact the competent consumer-protection authorities and/or courts under the laws of the Republic of Moldova.
21. Changes to these Terms
Table 9 may update these Terms to reflect legal, technical or operational changes. The current version and last-updated date will be published on the website.
For orders and reservations already confirmed, the conditions accepted at confirmation will generally apply, except for changes required by mandatory law.
22. Governing law and language versions
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Moldova. Romanian, Russian and English versions are provided for accessibility. If there is a difference in interpretation, the Romanian version prevails, without limiting mandatory consumer rights.
